I am a Parent/Carer

What you may be experiencing…

We understand the challenges you face as parents or carers of individuals. While supports are essential, they alone do not create a complete and fulfilling life for your loved ones. That's why we focus on developing community involvement as a vital aspect of our approach. By involving the right individuals and developing community, we strive to provide opportunities for growth and independence that extend beyond the limited time spent with a support person.

We recognize the concern you may have about what happens when that support person leaves. Our aim is to empower individuals to develop skills and connections that will sustain them even when they are not directly supported. Our goal is to guide them towards a stage of independence and thriving where they move beyond 1-1 supports.

What we do

We believe in the sustainability and independence of your loved ones. We offer approaches that encourage personal growth, career development, and the pursuit of interests, allowing them to have more time to themselves while promoting their overall independence. Our aim is to provide a path that leads to greater autonomy and fulfillment, both for them and for you as their parents.

Together, we can work towards a future where your loved ones can thrive, embrace their potential, and lead lives of greater independence and fulfillment.

How we do it

Each counsellor with Plurability develops with their client their unique pathway for turning their disability into a blessing, and facilitates their client developing their own personal action plan to get where they want to be in life.

Plurability counsellors draw on the personal example, thought-leadership and tools developed by our Ambassador, Mr Justan Singh, himself a person who has learnt to triumphed over ….

Justan can also be available for ‘XXX’ sessions where he personally can share his journey and inspire those who might be struggling to see who they are as a blessing to themselves and to others around them.
