Counsellor - Graham Barker
Graham is experienced in listening and applying a range of community based solutions as well as therapeutic approaches to a wide variety of clients.He is motivated by understanding each client’s unique situation and works with them to identify strengths while supporting pathways that build resilience and reinforce a positive mental health outlook.
He respects his client’s autonomy and seeks deep understanding of individuality while supporting a selection of meaningful and emerging goals which best complement their interpretation and essence of self. Graham is motivated when applying the above approaches with clients who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, isolation
or identity challenges. -
Counsellor - Peter Serpo
Peter holds a strong personal belief that people everywhere deserve respect and consideration. In following this intention he seeks to bring compassion and growth of understanding to all his interactions. Peter also believes in the power of collaboration and trustworthy, supportive alliance between individuals to bring greater positive experience to the world.
In his time as a counsellor Peter has worked with clients across a range of circumstances. In line with his postgraduate studies in 2022 he built up experience with a placement focused on men's mental health and well-being. Since then he has also engaged with and supported clients with specialised needs covered by the NDIS. His postgraduate studies focused on person-centred therapy and he strongly believes in the application of this approach. Empathy, non-judgement and non-directiveness are core to the counselling style he integrates into practice. Adding these to a foundation of unconditional positive regard is how he seeks to help clients in their own life journey to discover, empower and grow themselves. Genuine listening, consistent care and real interpersonal connection are also paramount focuses for him in providing a comfortable, positive and tangibly beneficial counselling interaction for clients.
Peter has completed a graduate diploma of counselling and psychotherapy with distinction at Western Sydney University on top of a bachelor's degree majoring in psychology from The University of Sydney. He is a currently registered accredited practising member of the Australian Counselling Association. -
Counsellor - Andrew Segelov
Andrew has always loved hearing people’s stories and building connections that lead to positive outcomes and changed lived experiences.
Andrew has studied a Graduate Diploma in Counselling from the Australian College of Applied Professionals. He also has extensive experience in adult education and facilitation with tertiary qualifications in teaching and adult education which have been invaluable in the psycho-education field.Andrew has over 20 years’ experience in the training and coaching industry. His principal areas of specialty are in public speaking and presentation skills training, interview coaching, performance management, giving & receiving feedback, mentoring, and management skills as well as counselling. He is an experienced facilitator of business meetings, planning days, focus groups, and conferences.
